There are countless ways you can become a part of the Blooming Place for Kids family. In addition to making a monetary contribution, which is our greatest need, you can donate an item from our “Wish List” or donate a quality, gently loved item to our resale shop. 

Hold a fundraiser; let your friends and family know about us…not just to request donations but also to share with us your talents as a volunteer at camp.  With your help, we can continue to enrich the lives of neglected and abused children, and that is truly something to celebrate.

No child has to pay to come to Blooming Place for Kids Camp.  However, it costs over $1,400.00 per camper for a summer session.  It’s up to us to raise the necessary funds.  Our funds come from generous and caring individuals.  More specifically, financial support to keep Blooming Place for Kids operating comes from many wonderful sources.  Donors are instrumental in providing the financial leadership force in sustaining and securing the future of our programs. 

Donors can make a difference in many ways.  For instance, some of our donors contribute a monthly amount to help operate our camp, some contribute annually and some make their family and friends make contributions in lieu of a gift during the holiday season and for special occasions.  Still others make gifts in memory of a loved one as part of their wish to make the success of Blooming Place for Kids a part of their legacy.

Support from various organizations is essential.  We are very proud to have many individuals and organizations devoted to the future of our children.

Foundations and corporations with BIG HEARTS FOR CHILDREN can help provide financial support.  Gifts can be specifically designated towards sponsoring an event or activity, or used for day-to-day operations to sustain our very unique program/s.

SPONSOR A CHILD FOR CAMP:

This includes materials for arts and crafts, meals, housing, 24-hour counselor supervision, medical staff, lifeguards, ropes facilitators, trained staff and all supervised camp activities.

Car and boat donations:  Donate a car or boat in sellable condition and your donation is tax-deductible for the fair market value.
